The Process & Purchase
Finding the right kitten should be exciting, not confusing. Here’s what to expect from choosing your kitten through bringing them home.
How It Works
Find Your Kitten
Browse the available kittens and reach out about the one who catches your eye.
Review the Contract
I’ll send you the purchase agreement and hold your kitten for approximately 24 hours while you review it. A prompt response is appreciated. If I don’t hear back, I’ll follow up once before returning the kitten to available.
Sign, Then Reserve
Once the purchase agreement is completed, I’ll provide payment instructions.
Your Kitten Is Reserved
Once the deposit is received, your kitten is officially reserved for you. The deposit is applied toward the total purchase price.
Watch Them Grow
You’ll receive weekly photo updates, usually around Sunday or Monday.
Spay or Neuter
Spay/neuter is scheduled as your kitten grows. We aim to complete surgery and allow time for recovery by around 12 weeks of age, depending on veterinary appointment availability.
Plan the Homecoming
Once the appointment is confirmed, I’ll let you know the expected homecoming date—hopefully with about four weeks’ notice.
Kittens have a minimum recovery period after surgery of 5 days for girls and 3 days for boys.
Please schedule your veterinarian appointment so your kitten can receive the required post-pickup examination within 72 hours of going home.
Pickup or Delivery
We’ll arrange pickup with your 72-hour veterinary appointment in mind.
Let me know what area you’ll be traveling from so I can choose a meeting place convenient for you. I typically meet buyers up to 30 minutes from my home to help with travel.
Delivery over longer distances may also be available, with travel expenses discussed and agreed upon in advance.
